Dear DemocracyNet people

I do have a question for the DemocracyNet research community...

In one of our current game design activities (E+
project Demogames - Analogue and Digital Games about/for/through
Democracy) we are looking for democracy research experts,
particularly for expertise in one or the other way related to corruption
/ anti-corruption measures (see below for details).

Ideally, we would like to have 1-3 contact persons for
content-related questions and persons, who can imagine to give
content-related advice and feedback during a limited period of
time for the content design of one of our games.

It would be great if you could also forward the request, made by
our partner Amanda Warner, to experts in the field, who might be
interested in being available for 1-2 interviews (or something
alike), or might know persons who might be...

Thank you!
Best wishes
Rebecca

DEMOGAMES is an Erasmus+ project of six
partner organizations, with the goal of creating a set of analog
and digital games about democracy. You can <a

here (https://demokrative.ch/en/demogames).

For one of the games, we are exploring the idea of creating a
single player, digital game about corruption. As currently
imagined, players will take on the role of someone working at an
anti-corruption agency or NGO:

Players assess pieces of evidence and categorize the types
of corruption.

Some of the evidence relates to an overall storyline of
political corruption that players are uncovering over time.

Players also have contact with a journalist and a
colleague, who can provide additional information and
support.

Players need to decide when their case is ready to submit
for further investigation and potential prosecution, and
they then see the results of their actions. (These results
are based on the strength of the case they've uncovered and
other support that they've built along the way.)

We imagine the gameplay being (loosely) similar to Papers
Please. Our goal is to create a game that is both fun and
educational, incorporating best practices for game-based
learning and digital education.

We need subject matter experts, familiar with the work of
anti-corruption agencies and/or anti-corruption NGOs, to help
us create realistic evidence and a compelling overall
storyline.

assisting, they can contact Amanda Warner at <a
