This is going to be the next Heidelberg Talks Online session organized by DAAD-Freundeskreis.

The speakers will be:

Prof. Subrata K. Mitra, Ph.D. (Rochester), Emeritus Professor of Political Science at Heidelberg University and Adjunct Professor at Dublin City University. Comparative politics and foreign policy are among his main interests. His recent books include Governance by Stealth: The Ministry of Home Affairs and the Making of the Indian State (Delhi: OUP; 2021).

Nicolás Jaramillo, Doctoral Fellow in Sociology at Heidelberg University. KAAD scholarship holder and DAAD alumnus who received his M.A. in Sociology at UNAL in Bogotá. Democracy and Corruption are among his main interests. I am member of heiGOS research group, Latin American Studies Association, DemocracyNet, among others. I co-coordinate the lecture series “Citizenship, Integrity and Fight against Corruption”.
