The Doctoral Programme Democracy Studies announces the 9th Swiss Summer School in Democracy Studies on Democracy and Peace, which will take place in person at the University of Zurich from 11 to 15 September 2023.

In light of the war in Ukraine, this year's program will deal with theories and approaches to the relationship between democracy and peace: democratic peace theories, promotion and defence of democracy, and building democracy in post-conflict societies. The focus will be on Ukraine, but not exclusively.

We appreciate you sharing the Call for Applications with possibly interested participants. The deadline for submission is Wednesday, May 31st, 2023.
