    DemocracyNet is glad to invite you to the public lecture of Prof. Emanuela Ceva (University of Geneva) on “Accountable Public Institutions.” The lecture will take place on Thursday, December 9, 5pm-6.30pm, at the Institute of Political Science of the University of Zurich (Affolternstrasse 56, room AFL-F-121).     DemocracyNet lädt alle ein: Am 17. November 2021 findet eine Abstimm-Bar zur “Pflegeinitiative” statt. Bei dieser öffentlichen und inklusiven Veranstaltung haben Sie die Gelegenheit, zu erfahren, um was genau es bei der Abstimmung geht. In einem ersten Schritt werden unsere Gäste alle wichtigen Informationen zur Vorlage darlegen sowie ihre Argumente aus Befürworter- und Gegnersicht präsentieren. Danach können Sie alle Ihre Fragen stellen sowie – vielleicht mit einem Bier oder Mineral – in kleineren Gruppen mit unseren Gästen und Publikum über die Abstimmungsvorlage diskutieren.     The next DemocracyNet and Doctoral Program Democracy Studies workshop will take place on December 9-10, 2021, at the University of Zurich, and the Call for Papers is now open!
